Mission & Vision Statements

Mission

To improve maternal health outcomes in rural Africa by designing and delivering innovative, community-rooted healthcare solutions — including safe childbirth services, prenatal and postnatal care, and maternal health education — that empower women, support families, and end preventable maternal deaths.

Vision

A future where no woman dies giving life — where every mother in rural Africa has access to safe, dignified, and life-saving maternal healthcare.

Purpose

We exist to bridge the maternal healthcare gap in rural Africa. Through medical innovation, accessible technology, and locally driven care, we ensure no mother is left behind simply because of where she lives.

SAMAHE

A Growing Movement

In just four years, CLIPASA has grown from a handful of volunteers to a team of 120 staff. Today, the organization has one fully committed on-the-ground partner in Uganda—SAMAHE—and is preparing to expand beyond Uganda to other rural areas, with the potential to reach six more low-income countries across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Clinics for Maternal Healthcare and Safe Child Delivery in Rural Africa (CLIPASA) was founded in 2021.

Founded By Dr. Robinah Namulindwa, alongside doctors, midwives, public health specialists, and community activists. The idea grew from Robinah’s years working on fistula programs in rural Uganda.
